Why this site exists
Router documentation is written by manufacturers, for people who already understand networking. The result is that a question as simple as “how do I change my Wi-Fi password” sends most people to a forum post from 2014.
This site covers one address — 192.168.0.1 — and the hardware behind it, in language that assumes no background. Where a manufacturer does something unusual, we say so. Where a published default is wrong for your specific unit, we say that the sticker on the router wins.
