Diagnostics

Find your router’s real address

Thirty seconds on any device. The value you want is labelled “default gateway” or “router”.

Windows 10 and 11

  1. Press Win + R, type cmd, press Enter.
  2. Type ipconfig and press Enter.
  3. Read the Default Gateway line.

macOS

  1. Open System Settings › Network.
  2. Select your connection, then Details.
  3. Open TCP/IP and read Router.

Android

  1. Settings › Network & internet › Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap the gear beside your network.
  3. Expand Advanced, read Gateway.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Settings › Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap the blue i beside your network.
  3. Read Router under IPv4 Address.
